There's a Racial Harmony Day (hereon known as RHD) dance competition which, sadly, is compulsory. Top three classes stand to win attractive prizes and will showcase their dance on 21st July.
GUIDELINES:
1. The dance presentation must be relevant to the theme, which can be based on students' perception(s).
2. Dance presentation must include the integration of cultures.
3. Although there is no limit on the number of performers in each presentation, every dance must be made up of students from the same class. (This point is kind of redundant actually ._.)
4. Maximum time allotted for each presentation will be approximately 5 minutes. A timer will be used.
5. An oral presentation must precede the dance presentation. Introductions should not exceed one minute.
6. Costumes, stage props and music are the responsibility of the participants and should be kept to a minimum for easy set-up and removal.
7. Stage set-up is limited to 2 minutes.
8. Judges will award points as indicated in the following criteria:
-Relevance to the theme
-Integration of cultures
-Originality of the presentation
-Clarity of the presentation
and lastly,
-Entertainment value (?)
We MUST submit our proposal to Miss Sylvia Khoo by Thursday, 16th May by 1200 hours. The forms and stuff are with me, so I'll pass them to Clara on Tuesday.
Our audition will be on the 20th of May, and we're supposed to report at the Mini Amphi by 1535 (our audition will be at 1545 in the Dance Room).
Maybe we could discuss the details and stuff on Tuesday?

My design for the class tee ._. It was done with the assumption that the background (which is the tee) is white. Uhh going by the majority vote, the shirt will be white, right? D:
I think we need to settle the design of the tee really soon, plus we need to source for the cheapest printers and stuff (do we? or is the school doing that for us?), or else by the time netcarn comes around..we'll have no class tee ):
